Question, How many of you have your ring insured??

Question, How many of you have your ring insured??

I finally got my ring, and FH is insuring it. He had to make up this contract to submit to the insurance company that its his ring, but he is loaning it to me. Its insured under his name so the letter states that i will be wearing it. He got all risk insurance through liberty mutual wich is our auto insurance and our homeowners insurance as well. Anyone else have to do this?

we were SUPPOSED to do it. fmil keeps yelling at us to get it done. i'm bad with submitting paperwork for things.

you're good that you're getting it taken care of!

We had mine insured under my mom's homeowner's policy... Nothing about the ring being his though and just loaning it to me...

Yes I also insured my ring. We did it through an affiliate of Geico, where we purchased renters insurance and it was covered. All we had to do was call them and give them information over the phone and then about a week or so later, we rec'd the paperwork for our records.

We're planning on it, but I'm such a procrastinator, it is terrible. I'll get it done sooner or later though.

Yes, we insured it...but nothing about the ring belonging to him...

i got insurance on my ring and its covered for everything and anything but its in my name as my ring, not anyone loaning it to me

My ring is insured in his name since he was the one who purchased it. My name is on the policy also - and we both signed it.
My dad does insurance and he didn't give us a choice, just wrote the policy up.
I would recommended doing it ASAP.

yes i insured it under my parents' homeowners' insurance. it has to be insured to a woman since it is a woman's ring - that is probably the reason why he has to say he is 'loaning' it to you - i am assuming so he can insure it under his own name

we did it right away and i am so glad we did - i couldnt handle having to worry about that!

FH had my ing insured immediately. I would suggest that to anyone who is contemplating doing it. Rings are wayyyy to expensive

we were supposed to do it, but we keep putting it off. I havent even gotten it sized yet! (3 months later)

FH had mine insured about 2 weeks after he gave it to me on our homeowner's insurance.

I had dreams that the diamond was falling out until that paperwork went through.

If you are thinking about it or procrastinating you should do it ASAP. You never know what can happen!!

yes with jewelers mutual..it covers everything...loss, theft, damage, mysterious disapppearance..please get yours insured ASAP!!

I insured mine. Alot of girls, like myself, have used Jeweler's Mutal.. online.

i insured mine with nationwide and its about 200 for the year!!
