question- if you were invited..

to a party christmas night, would you go?

FH and I want to have a dinner party but I'm not sure people would come bc its christmas. Before we send out invites and start shopping, I need input!

Advice please!

ETA: FH said we should have it anyways, so we sent out the e-vites, and already got 6 responses! Yay I am so excited! LOL. This is our first time hosting! Ah little things like that make me so happy.

Now...what to make? LOL

For me I wouldnt because we have family over every year for Christmas and I dont get to see my family often. however some people just stay at home so they prob would come over!

it depends.

my family only celebrates xmas eve so i would probably come on xmas day.

HOWEVER, FH's family celebrates xmas day, so i wouldn't be able to come to your party b/c i'd be there

I personally wouldn't since I think of christmas as family time. Plus I hate traveling on holidays because there is traffice everywhere.

You may want to ask around though, many people aren't close with their families/live far away and would probably love to have something fun to do.

Crashing....

I wouldn't be able to make a party on Christmas. The day is reserved for my family. We almost never get together. I'm looking forward to it.

it depends... why don't you put feelers out there to your friends?? are they normally home by Christmas night??

that would be a tough night. we do Christmas eve with FH family and Christmas day (which turns into night) with my family.

ohh thats tough.. i was gonna say what about a new years eve party.. but i guess that doesnt work..

i would have to say that i prob would we do xmas eve at my house then just an early dinner on christmas day but i would go after dinner!
