Question, is this silly to do? I'M HOME...UPDATED!!

Original post by MsKitty1274

I am not getting married for another...594 days! I know other '06 gals have bought dresses. I am not quite ready to BUY yet, but I want to go try on stuff, and see what styles I like and what looks good on me.

I was thinking of going to David's Bridal tonight just to try on stuff. Is this silly to do?

I am not sure if I will buy from there, and I am not really going to go 'seriously' looking until April (when my mom is here)?

Thanks!

ohh do not worry not all the dresses are for girls that have normal healthy bodies!!! I told the girls here the other night how upset I got I ama reg size 10 and none of the reg sizes would look as I thought. you will still makea beautiful bride remember it is not the size in your waist that is worth is the size of your soul that counts the most.

MsKitty,

It's not silly at all. In fact, as soon as I book my hall, I might start trying on dresses. I just want to try on all the pretty dresses.

I think its a good idea to go look and try on dresses. I went to Davids first too, and I only tried on 2 dresses...I ended up going back MONTHS later with a lot more dresses in mind, because after being all around, you get a much better idea of what you like and look good in.
For the weight loss..word of advice, do it now. I have my too small dress right now, 30 lbs to lose and less then 3 months till first fitting because I was too slow at getting my A$$ moving!

Im glad it worked out ok...keep looking now, enjoy that you have all the extra time!
