Question: Need help with wedding 'jobs' to involve my step-siblings

Both of my parents are re-married and I have stepsiblings on both sides. I would like to include them somehow. There are 2 girls and 1 boy on Mom’s side and 1 boy on Dad’s side. For all I know, the boys may not want to participate. Before I say anything to my parents, I want to have suggestions/ideas on how I can include them. Here’s what I have come up with so far…(ages are at the time of the wedding)

Girl #1 (Age 12) Hand out petal cones after ceremony?
Girl #2 (Age 14) Hand out petal cones after ceremony?
Boy #1 (Age 16) Hand out programs @ church?

Boy #2 (Age 12)?????


Any other ideas?!?!?!?

Maybe the 16 year old can be a reader.....or maybe if you have a grandmother or someone else who needs to be escorted down the aisle, one of the boys can do that.....

I made sure to include all of my cousins in the wedding. The olders ones who are not in the wedding (teenagers) are bringing up the gifts....the girls who are between 9 and 11 (3 of them) are going to hand out the programs and the cry packs before and the three boys who are 7-9 are going to hand out the rose petal cones at the end....

Thanks, unfortunately, I do not have any grammas left. FH's gramma will be here, but she will be escorted by FH or FH's brother.

Handing out petal cones is a great job for the girls! What about usher for the boy? Although they may not want to do anything at all, my father's 3 kids all came and they barely made a peep, they definitely did not want 'jobs' at my wedding...gauge how 'psyched' they are about the wedding first...they're at that weird age where nothing really matters.

BTW< I posted pics of the cake on the review. Hope you like it...it tasted heavenly!
