question of rsvp date

Should I put my rsvp date 2 months before the wedding in case I need to send invites to my B list guests?

Well, I think 2 months is kind of early for an rsvp date. You'll probably get some no's within the first few weeks of sending out invitations anyway. I'd say make the rsvp date 6 weeks before the wedding, then as you get no's early on, start sending to B listers.
