Do you feel that on your wedding day you will be looking out for every detail and concerned if something is not done your way???

No - not at all... I'm putting all my faith in my vendors.... FH is VERY laid back - so i'm going with his approach...whatever happens, happens...

Nope...At that point- I did everything I could and want to just enjoy the day!!! I'm setting the expectation that something might go wrong and it's OK

Re: Question of the day (Mon)
I always thought that I would, but the closer we get, the less the little things mean. Imean, don't get me wrong, i'd love for everything to go perfect and have the place cards set up perfectly, and the tables look perfect... but the closer the day gets, the more ok I am with things going wrong. As long as the ceremony is perfect, nothing will ruin that day for me!!!

Re: Question of the day (Mon)
i think that i will notice things that might be out of place or not perfect BUT unless its something major i probably will be to drunk and happy to care.....i was so stressed about my eparty b/c we planned it really quickly and had to do everything ourselves - but by the time i had one drink and the party started i could care less about any of it! fh and i were just enjoying ourselves!

Re: Question of the day (Mon)
TO a certain extent...i dont want to stress anything out or worry so much about every little detail that i wont enjoy my day...I remember one episode of bridezillas this girl was a perfectionist and during her reception she paid attention to every little thing, and was running around making sure everything was perfect and really stressing a bit too much...When it was over she realized she spent most of her time worrying about every waiter, every little thing being done and she didn't even enjoy her wedding and after she realized and felt bad
I'll probably just see how everything worked out but im gonna mostly concern myself with enjoying the day

I probably will!! But I will have to just realize that the day is about us being together and not if the flowers were wrong, food cold, etc.

Re: Question of the day (Mon)
Like I if see my place card table all retarded and all over the place, I would want to put everything in place, nice and neatly. Im like that with everything, if I see something off then I have to make it perfect. Im like that at home and work and Im afraid at the wedd but I dont want too. You know what Im sure my hall and BM will look out for those things. Im not going to stress.

I just think that we all booked vendors that we trust and RH's that we love and at some point, we have to give up control or else we will miss our day. there is nothing more important to me on that day than the fact that FH and I are married and that we have a great time, as well as the guests, in celebrating that. As long as those things go fine, at that moment, nothing else will matter, IMO

exactly, looking back years from now we wont remember if the placecard table was a bit messy but we will remember what we felt and what we did, you want to look back and remember a happy time and you enjoying yourself, dancing and mingling with your guests and of course the love you and Fh share.
Also i notice that when the bride and groom are out on the dance floor alot partying and talking to guests it makes the wedding so much better and seeing the bride just so happy and carefree really stands out to guests.

No way im not like that at all. Let the RH handle that....theres nothing worse than a horrified look on a bride's face..hopefully i will be smiling all day.
