Question of the day (Mon)

Original post by AS

Do you feel that on your wedding day you will be looking out for every detail and concerned if something is not done your way???

I probably will!! But I will have to just realize that the day is about us being together and not if the flowers were wrong, food cold, etc.

No way im not like that at all. Let the RH handle that....theres nothing worse than a horrified look on a bride's face..hopefully i will be smiling all day.

so true!!!

honestly i WILL be like that until i see FH - he calms me down and brings me back to earth but i know BEFORE i see him like getting ready and stuff i am going to be a nut job and probably screaming at my whole family - i will have some apologizing to do after the wedding

i am like that for EVERY event - i mean EVERYTHING from communion to confirmation to graduation. I mean i was SOBBING the whole way to my engagement dinner but once i get there i am calm and collected and then i just feel silly

i will TRY to be nice the day of my wedding but i snap way too much at my parents! hopefully i will be able to control myself

I refuse to 'sweat the small stuff!' Trust me you are going to be happy and busy talking to people and taking pics that you won't notice the little things and you know what either will your guests.

You have to remember this, your vendors arent' out to get you. They want you to enjoy their day because if they screw up that can cost them future business.

um... i doubt it. I just want to have fun; the only detail i would probably notice is if something is completely missing (like flowers or dj didn't show up). i just want the food to be good - my family is very critical of food.

Depends if Aunt Flow is in town..if she is --- WATCH OUT!! hehe..I can't be held accountable for my actions!

Hopefully I'll have enough faith in all my vendors that I won't have to stress so much.

i hope not. I hope that I can just enjoy my wedding day and being with FH.

i dont want to worry about who is here and what vendor is doing what.

but i bet a part of me will be worried.

Like I if see my place card table all retarded and all over the place, I would want to put everything in place, nice and neatly. Im like that with everything, if I see something off then I have to make it perfect. Im like that at home and work and Im afraid at the wedd but I dont want too. You know what Im sure my hall and BM will look out for those things. Im not going to stress.

true!

my parents said that if anything goes wrong they want to be the one the vendors go to. and i like that idea. if something is going wrong i dont want to have to deal with it. i want to know whats going on but i dont want to have to FIX something on my day

NOT AT ALL!

I don't think I'll be overly managing everything, hopefully the RH will be on top of things. As long as there's food, flowers, music, and alcohol, I think I'll be ok

I don't think so, at that point I'll be so ready to have fun and enjoy the day with the groom :)

Re: Question of the day (Mon)

probably not! I'll most likely be just enjoying my day and I know my BM will try and keep eveything running smoothly for me and so i don't have to worry about anything

I hope I won't .. I really just want to enjoy the day, I really don't think I'll care about all the little things, so long as i'm a mrs!

I will tyr to just let evrything go and enjoy myself, that is why I hired people I trust. But, I def will be at the reception a bit before hand to make sure evrything looks right

As of now I think that I will. But hopefully I will just be ok the day of b/c I know worrying about the little stuff will ruin my day so I will try and relax. No promises though..haha

I think all I can really do is plan for everything and be organized and hope for the best the day of.

I am extremely anal and think that up until I walk down the aisle I'll be nitpicking aroung. However, I think that once we walk back up the aisle and hubby and wifey then I'll feel like nothing else matters and will enjoy the day together. I can't promise that at the RH I won't be pointing out stuff to FH (both great and not so great, if any!) BUT I can promise that I will just be happy to have a man that just pledged his life to me!

I'm a perfectionist, so leading up to the wedding I've planned out all the details. But my biggest fear is being a Bridezilla. So I have also warned my FH and MOH to calm me down if I start to freak out. I don't want to notice everything because I really hope to enjoy my wedding day!! I have been seriously working to let go... hopefully I won't notice anything wrong that day!

i dont think i will
I plan on having fun and not worry about all the silly stuff.. when it comes down to it, the flowers or table set up wont mean anything ill remember saying our vows, looking at each other, first dances and having a great time!
