Question of the Day (Wednesday)

Will you be attending your cocktail hour?

Me... hell yeah! I love to eat! I can't picture myself being one of those brides who is too nervous/busy/excited to eat! I'm chowing down and cutting all the lines at CH!

I'm still undecided... i want to go but, then we woul have to take pictures before the cereminy and i wanted the first time he saw me to be walking down the aisle

absolutely there is no way we're missing it- we dont plan to go into the bridal suite at all---unless I have to pee!!!

Originally we we going to do the ceremony at the RH and then take pics after but the CH is immediately after the ceremony so instead we decided to have the ceremony at the church up the road which will leave us an hour in between the ceremony and CH. So hopefully we will be able to take all our pictures and still make it to at least part of the CH (its my favorite part of the wedding lol)

the plan is to have the bridal party enjoy cocktail hour while me and fh enjoy alone time in the bridal suite and eat by ourselves without people attacking us

I'm very undecided by this. I want to go to the CH to get the talking to everyone part pretty much done but I also want the introduction so i don't know what we are going to do

I'm going to the cocktail hour but only the second half hour...so we can have some down time AND I can mingle with guests and eat. Also, I went to a wedding where the bride and groom were at their cocktail hour, but they still had the big introduction. I dont see a problem with this, being that at the church/ceremony is when you're technically first introduced as husband and wife anyway.

We will probably only go for a few minutes if at all. I don't want to see FH before the ceremony and afterwards I want to take pictures on the beach (we'll be having our ceremony at the RH). So if we finish up with pics before it's over we will go.

Probably not! I want to go...but we are not taking pictures before the ceremony, so we'll have to take them during the cocktail hour.

Yes! I'm having my ceremony at my RH so I'll be taking pictures before the ceremony. I like the idea of getting the hellos out of the way during CH so then I can just relax and party during the reception. We will only be having about 60 guests so it shouldn't take that long. Also the best food is during the CH. I definately don't want to miss out! I also like the idea of taking the first half hour for FH and I to be alone in the bridal suite and then mingling for the 2nd half hour.....

i don't think so. we'll probably be doing pics bc i really want the first time we see each other to be when i'm walking down the isle. and then hopefully we'll be able to spend some time together in the bridal suite after pics.
