So the hot trend of spring is.........leggings! Anyone have any plans to sport a pair of these bad boys? I am gonna say no - I can just imagine FH's response to me and leggings 'What in the hell are you wearing?'

Re: Question of the Day.....Fashion
Honestly, when they were popular the first time, my legs looked like vats of cottage cheese. Now that I lost weight, I wish I had the balls to wear them. I am still trying to figure out the reason why mothers let their daughters out with miniskirts and UGG boots.

I know I say this now, no I will not buy them. But like all trends, I end up buying them eventually.

Leggings = just plain wrong, whether you can pull them off or not. Especially if they have lace trim.

My 20 yr old sister wears them under too-short-denim skirts.
I think they look RIDICULOUS!

Yeah I don't understand the resurgance of leggings - they really are not very flattering on anyone - especially the shiny black ones! They are silly
Whenever I see someone wearing them I always whisper to FH 'Look - leggings!' Same with mullets

The resurgance of all things 80s has me - they didn't look good then. If you revamp them, they still look like azz. Once stirrup pants come back, I'm going to lose it.
And mullets - - I love the book the Urban Outifitters used to have that was dedicated to the mullet!

I for one am going to say I like this trend. At 27 am I going to follow it, no, but I am sooo happy that my students are following it. Their skirts were way to short, so now at least they are covered!!

pure genius. This very weekend at church I spotted a brilliant mullet. Me 'FH - to your left - mullet'. FH 'Suz - there is a time and a place for mullet-watch............(me feeling guilty).........and church is definitely one of those places'. Damn FH!
On a side note - remember Jeremy Jackson of Baywatch. He now has the mother of all mullets -

Hobie had the baby mullet - side side note, did you see that show on E! about former child stars - never would have guessed that he was doing drugs while on the show!

What?!? I missed that! I feel like he was all of like 12 on the show! Although looking at his 'now' pic - that explains SO SO much!

I used to wear leggings ALL the time. probably even more than jeans.
IMO, leggings belong in the gym (or other athletic activities)

You have to see it - I had no idea that he was on Bay Watch until he was 18 (when he just walked off the set and never returned). He was arrested and in jail for 3 months (charged with intent to manufacture crystal meth - his drug of choice) but he's been clean for a few years now.

and here I only remember little 12 year old Hobie! The route of his problems is pretty simple to decipher -----> Mitch Bucanan i.e. David Hasselhoff and his German singing career. How could Jeremy stay off drugs when he was forced to endure THAT everyday?
