I am getting something engraved for my BM and I am confused on how it should be.
I was going to use their first name, middle, last. let's say the name is Jennifer Marie Smith.
Would you do the monogram engraving as ... j M s or m J s or j S m
Help me out girls...thanks!

Dont know if this is correct, but I would do the last one j S m, I also thought the last name initial was in the middle..

A monogram is first initial, LAST INITIAL, middle initial.

thats a rough one... I dont think the middle name should be emphasized, but I also think that if you switch her intials around to put the Last name in the center, that will throw her off too... My initials are RAD [hahaha] and if I opened up a gift and saw rDa I would be like

omg.. thank god I saw this! I think I would have done it the silly way.. first, mid, last.
They should tell you on the website or the place when ordering.. and I never see any help!!

Yep. I would of done it wrong too. I always thought it was first name, middle name, last name..initials...but then I saw this post..and I was like, wait a sec. that doesnt make sense, usually the last name initial is the middle....grr all these little things that can drive a girl crazy
