Question on invites...

Question on invites...

I am having an OOT wedding, and there is only so much room for the directions on the cards. What directions do I need? Directions from here to the hotels in Pennsylvania? Or directions to the church once they are there.....or both?
Would most people Mapquest the directions to the hotels?
We are having a bus pick them up from the hotels after the ceremony to bring them to the reception, so they won't have to worry about how to get there....

Re: Question on invites...

On my directional card I put the directions to the RH. (my ceremony is at the RH)

On the back of the accomidations card, I put directions to the hotel from the RH.

In your case.. I would just put the directions to the church on one side and the directions to the RH on the other side of the directional card (since not everyone will be attending the church) and if you want you can add the accomidations card and put the directions to the hotel from the RH.

Re: Question on invites...

I asked the hotels i blocked rooms at for their direction card and am putting it in as an insert with the invite. I am stuffing the 2nd half of my invites this afternoon, taking a little break now.

I had the 2 hotels email a list of who booked rooms so i know which card to put in there.

I agree put directions to church on one side of the card & directions to RH on the other side.

One side of mine is directions to Kings Pt which is rh & chapel. Do you have a website? I also put on there....
Driving directions from other points can be found on our website...... to save room. On the other side of the card i reminded them of accomodations where we blocked rooms.

Since it's OOT - I would have directions for everything.... Just throw an extra card in the envelope...
