Question on rehearsal dates

How long in advance are you suppose to book your rehearsal date? We already finished pre cana and our church never said anything about picking a date for the rehearsal./

hey date twin! I made the date for our rehearsal about 2 months ago...i wanted to make sure the church would be available for us.

We booked ours about 3 1/2 months before our wedding. Our church called us to do it.

we are gettiing married on saturday and the rehersal is on thursday

we had to meet with our church in january to give baptism certificate and go over some things and we just booked it then.

I actually booked mine already for the Thursday before the wedding. I just wanted to make sure it was available.

My church never called me about this, I am not sure if I am suppose to call and book it or wait for them to call me. Our church is really strick.

they wont call you to book it. If you want to do it ASAP then do it now otherwise wait until you have to go meet with them

we booked rehearsal date i think maybe the 1st or 2nd meeting with the priest

I already booked ours because there is another wedding the same day and I just wanted to get things done.

i called my church and did it myself...i didnt want to wait until it was too late.

We just got a call last week from our church to book the Rehersal. We are getting married on Sat, but having our Rehersal on Fri night. Give the Church rectory and talk to them about scheduling it. HTH

our paperwork said the priest was supposed to discuss it when out date was finalized...which was ages ago. that never happened so I just called and confirmed a date.
