Question re; Bill Levkoff Dresses for Girls Who Have Ordered or Worn

How does the sizing work? On average, how many sizes up would you say you were from your regular dress size?

All of my girls were measured at much bigger sizes than typical. Then after picking them up, they just fall right off them and need alot of alterations.

I had two and they were both about a size bigger than my regular clothes. They were both okay around the waist and hips, but they were huge around the boobs and I have boobs.

thanks. how did the alterations come out? at least everyone is ordering bigger than i think they are. can't fix a dress that's too small!

I agree - I've had one, I'm actually wearing it in my avatar pic. It was pretty true to size for me and the only alterations I had done were on the hem length. Bridal Reflection is Massapequa did the alterations and almost everyone in the bp had a complaint about them. I don't think they did a great job - the hem wasn't the same on everyone's dresses.

Actually all my girls called me almost in hysterics because the dress size ordered was SOOOOOO much bigger than their ACTUAL size! LOL So they tend to run VERY small. At least 4 of my gf's who are a normal size 2-4 literally got either an 8 or a 10!!!

I have to agree with everyone, I have worn one, AND my bridal party is wearing them and they made them order their dresses about 2 sizes bigger then their street size. When I was in my friends wedding they did about the same... and the dress was HUGE! and needed a lot of alterations! So I dont get it. Sometimes I wonder if it is just a way to get you to spend your full cap for alterations!
