I am getting married at a place that is exclusive with 3 florists, so i have to book with one of them. I kinda think that I might be getting ripped off big time on flowers. I am looking at high CP's, which i know are more expensive than low ones...if you dont mind me asking, approx. how much should a tall one cost?
i was quoted at burtons for 90 or 95 i really dont remember exact
i was given a list of 'required' vendors and i told my coordinator that didn't work for me as far as the florists (same suspicions you have)...so she took that off the table and told me she would just recommend i meet with them, but don't have to use them...i'm pretty sure a rh won't let that be a make or break deal or ruin your satisfaction level, do bring it up to them, it doesn't hurt.

i dont know if there is any wiggle room...i guess i'd have to ask. I was told when i signed the contract that i had to use one of these 3 florists. I thought it was great cause i cant make a decision...and this would help me alot. but now that i've been talking to the florists...it seems like a bad idea.
Dont get me wrong...they do amazing work..i just think i could get great quality for a little less somewhere else.
They quoted me $250 per cp...just seemed high, i dont know.

My hall requires that I use one of 3 florists as well, but we were quoted less than that for high centerpieces at all three places and what we are getting is pretty substantial...

um...i remember a few..orchids, hydrangeas (SP?) i dont remember the others. He said there would be a few cala's in there for accents

WOW then sorry but that is ALOT then, i was waiting for you to say cherry blossoms or something.
Mine are mostly calla's with branches, and then a few orchids and orchids inside the vase

haha mine are cherry blossoms with hydrangeas rimming the vase and we are currently at $175 and I am still negotiating. $250 is outrageous!!!
