sorry if this is a dumb question :) , but when you change doctors (obgyns) do you have to tell your old one you are changing? Or have your records moved over or whatever? I may have to change docs because it looks like mine is not in my plan anymore (not sure, but have to find out). TIA!

When I changed drs, I requested that the new office request my medical history and they get all the forms that are needed to send your file.

When I recently changed I sent a fax to my old OBGYN's office requesting they fax my records to the new Dr's office. I didn't give them a reason why.
