Question - Wine related

Yesterday I took a bottle of wine out of the refrigerator, and I never put it back in. It has been sitting on the counter since. Do you think the wine is bad or is it still ok? It is Pindar Winter white.

Re: Question - Wine related

Nope it was open. I had some the other day, refrigerated it and then took it out for my sister to have some. So what do you think?
Second question:
Do you normally refrigerate wine after you open it?

Re: Question - Wine related

I dont refrigerate mine....sometimes but rarely..and I'm still alive

Then again, not like I let it sit out for too long..all I have to do is SEE the bottle and I want some. I use bottle stoppers though in the top , but I leave mine out as long as a week. It is FINE!

And if you think its not, just FM me and I will come and get it and drink it myself..dont throw it out!

Re: Question - Wine related

I definitely wouldn't put it back in the fridge if it's been open and laying out all day. I usually refrigerate white wine if it's been opened, but not red (it should be drunk at room temp). We don't get many half finished bottles round our house but you should try to finish it within 2 to 3 days.

Re: Question - Wine related

The white wine and the red wine have our chrome wine bottle stoppers in them that we gave out at the wedding.

So tomorrow if I take a drink and it tastes fine then, I guess I will drink it but if not I will throw it out.
Thanks

Thats what I read on a different website. If white wine is bad it gets sour tasting.
