We dated 2 1/2 years before he popped the question. He were best friends for 12 years before we started dating.

Two years and three months!! We worked together for a year and a half before he found a new job so that we could 'Take our relationship to the next level.' He surprised me with a proposall on a trip to Napa!

A little over 4 years.
We met a long time ago and didn't like each other very much. He went away on business to Thailand for 6 months and when he came back we started talking. In Jan on 02 we started 'hanging otu' and made it official July 12, 2002. We got engaged Aug 12, 2006 and getting married July 11, 2008.

exactly 4 months ~~~ I know some people think that we're crazy. I feel like I've known him all my life. Its sooo strange but when I think about the fact that we're together for 7 months I can't believe it - I feel like I know him so well. (maybe because we live together)

i dont think its crazy. my sis was only w/her boyfriend for 3 months before they got engaged. when u know, u know!
I don't think it's crazy either. We got engaged about 2 1/2 months after we met.
He bought the ring after about 2 months and was so excited he couldn't keep it a secret and showed it to me (I was very surprised!). I wanted to wait at least 3 months before thinking about it, but after a while I figured what am I waiting for, I knew I was going to marry him (it's true, when you know you know). Then he officially proposed. When we get married we will be together 2 years and 7 months.
