1. we have a low budget and were not planning on decorating pews, will this look stupid with no aisle runner either?(church does have nice marble floor)
2. can anyone recommend a low budget decoration for pews?( please no tule bows)
3 does anyone have any recommendation for outside the church, beside bubbles?

Can you use birdseed at the church? When I was looking for ideas for pew decorations I came across a cute idea. It was paper cones with a ribbon to hang on the pew and it had cute flowers in it. I don't remeber where I saw it. I will try and look for it tonight. You aren't allowed an aisle runner at all?

I saw a cute idea for outside afterwards..instead of rice or bubbles. The guests waved streamers, which were the color of the wedding theme.
If your church has a nice marble floor, you do not need an aisle runner IMO.

I saw it on Platinum Weddings I think. I don't have any pictures, but if I find any I will post.
I think it's really cute and the churches approve cuz it's not messy lol.

You can do a kissing ball. They have then on clearance in Michaels I believe $5 also Walmart has them for $4.

I don't think not decorating the pews is stupid at all. Everyone will be looking at YOU not the pews. Considering the small amount of time spent in the church, I personally don't think its worth spending the money if you cant afford it.

we ordered flowers for the ceremony - but i wanted it to be cost efficient so we ordered one hydrangea in a water tube with a ribbon around them to look nice, but after the ceremony (since the flowers are in water tubes and hydrangeas come in so many colors and are fairly inexpensive we are using them as decor at the reception as well - we are using them to lay around the cake - you might be able to use something along those lines that can be used for the ceremony and as a decoration in the reception so its not wasted.
