Questions....

I have two questions that aren't related to each other but I figured I'd use the same post for both.

1) On the place cards, do you write Mr. and Mrs. John Doe or John and Mary Doe?

2) For those that are having people join in on your first dance, do you still have a second slow dance? I am going to have my parents and siblings join us for our first dance and than I thought about having a second song where we ask for everyone to join us. Is that too much?

1- It's usually Mr. & Mrs. John Doe

2 - I think you should do a second slow dance if you are only asking close family to join in on the first.

I am dancing the first dance alone with FH and Then I am going to pick a second song for everyone to join in to.

I went to a wedding last summer where the bride and groom danced to their song and then the band played the same song again with everyone joining in. It was really nice.

1. Mr and Mrs John Smith - but make sure you put the first name in...there tend to be a lot of Mr and Mrs your lastname or FH'slastname


2. we danced along to our first song...then had a more upbeat song (which was our second choice song) for everyone to join

if you just do fam and BP during the first song...you should definitely have another
