Questions about curtains???

My kitchen and den open up into each other. I have a window above my sink, then a sliding glass door, (which will be where my kitchen table is) and then a double window in the den, all on the same wall spread out between the two rooms.

What should I do about curtains. I want ot get something for the sliding glass door, and I was thinking verticals, but would I have to do them on the rest of the windows??

You can do verticals on the sliding doors.

as far as the other windows ou do not have to do verticals on there if you do not want to.

As far as curtains are concerned, I would get curtains that compliment the room that the window is in.

So it would be fine if I had a curtain that coordinates with the blue and yellow of my kitchen in the Kitchen, verticals on the sliding glass door in a neutral color, and then roman shades on the den window?

My mom thinks it will be too much?

I was thinking of doing a neutral, beigey color, in the den, since my couch is black and brown.

Maybe I will do the verticals coordinating to the curtains in the den, since the kitchen window, imo seesm seperate, since it is inbetween the cabinets, and a U shaped counter.

Thanks for the help. I want o have curtains immediately after moving in, sicne you can see right ion our house from my in-laws next door, and DH ahs a nosey niece that lives there.
