Questions about negative experiences?

Questions about negative experiences?

I feel like it's my responsibility to return the favor to all of you girls, for sharing your wedding experiences. I have truely found this website to be extremely helpful in planning my wedding, especially because I do not live in LI and the wedding was planned on pretty short notice.

I've learned as much from your negative experiences as from the positive ones if not more. I have a few negative experiences that I feel are important for people to know, but it seems that negative reviews are discouraged on this forum? What are the limits for negativity?

They allow these type of posts, but you just have to keep it non-emotional (although it's hard) and stick to the facts.

If you're worried about a particular review, how about FMing Ron with him and ask him if it would be okay, or if you need to tweak something to it?

From what I've seen, negative commentary won't get pulled so long as you stick to facts, and avoid adjectives and emotions - telling us what happened instead of how horrible someone was - if they were horrible, the facts will speak for themselves.

Thanks for your efforts to put up your honest commentary - I really appreciate it because I too use this site for honest reviews of vendors and find it to be a tremendous resource.

I thikn the rules ar ethat you can't 'attack' a vendor. Don't title your post ' Stay away from xxxxx'

but if you are writing a larger review of all of your vendors, simply sate what happened.

Depending on the situation, it also may be a good idea to follow up witht he vendor first.

Look at a few reviews on Bride's review & you'll see a few negative ones.
