So we're on our way to booking a hall (hopefully!) and now we are trying to figure everything else in. I really don't know the AVERAGE price for things like a DJ, Photo, Video, Limo, Flowers, Etc. I know all of these vendors usually have package prices starting from basic to grand. If anyone on here can give me some prices they have been quoted, it would be very helpful. We are basing our hall extras on what else we will have to pay for other things. SO it's kind of holding us up a bit. I don't want to look RIGHT NOW for the flowers, video, etc bc our wedding is 2+ yrs away.

Re: Questions about pricing
Hi phyllis.
From what I have seen on the board I can give you an IDEA. My wedding ffalls under the 'Grand' category so I dont want to freak you out with my numbers.
And when I say average, im using rough numbers on the average of numbers I have seen over the past few months.
Hall- this is the only one I have no idea about other people. Mine is $175 head with 175 minimum.
Flowers- seems the average is $1200 to $4000
DJ- Seems the average is around $1200 to $2500
Video- Mine $1400 for an amazing deal. I think this is around average or so.
Photo- Cant help too much. Mine is about $4500 but includes the albums. I dont know if this is average or not.
Invites- I see $300-$500 for DIY and $500-$1200 average for 'ordered' invites.
Limo- I think people are paying arounf the $1000 mark. I have not been in on this decision so I dont know how much it is. Have not seen numbers from other brides.
Band - Generally runs $1000 a person for a band. Most people get a MINIMUM 5 person.
ETA: Officiant - mine is $1000
Dress - Can be anything. I think the average is around $1200 or so from what I have seen. But this number means nothing. On the dress you spend what you can afford and get what you love. Some women here have $5000 to spend, others under $1000. We have seen everything and it all looks great.
Thats all I can think of now. Hope this helps.

Re: Questions about pricing
i think these numbers are pretty average
one idea is to ask them to put the $$ of the extras in the contract now..and then you can decide later.
if you wait on deciding on any extras, the $$ may be more later.

Ok, here are some ballpark #s so you can plan. We went on the low end of things, but I've been on this board a while so I'll tell you what I think...
DJ (not band) - $1500-$2500 (much more if you want special lighting and extras) Photo - $2500-$4000 depending on packages Video - $1500-$4000 ' Limo - $1000-$3000 Flowers - $2000-$5000+ depending on what you like + how many CPs / BMs, etc.
Just so you know, Day-of tips ended up costing me about $1000 in cash. That's something I totally forgot to budget in.
Make-up can run you anywhere from $100-$750 depending on #s, same with hair if you plan on having someone come to you.
A DOC is going to be about another $500.
Our officiant was on the high end -- $750, but that's what we were quoted from several officiants so we bit the bullet. He was nice, but I wish the going rate were less. You have different costs (obviously) if you are getting married in church.
Hope that helps!
ETA: Our RH was under $100 pp (maybe $85?) for the top choice package (we did a buffet, but it was MASSIVE -- my dad wanted the lobster bar) but with tax and included gratuity was exactly $110 pp. I had a 100 minimum.
