Questions for Crest Hollow Brides

I just received the list of 'optional cocktail/dinner enhancements' from Joe at the Crest Hollow. Everything sounds good. Did you add any of the enhancements to the basic menu? Is it an extra charge? Is it worth it? I have to schedule an appoiment with Joe in the next few weeks. Any advise on what I should ask or discuss with him? We've got 50 days to go and up til now this didn't seem real. I guess I'm really getting married!

I know the feeling! We did not add anything. He threw in a few cocktail hour foods that we tasted but were not on our original menu. If you really want something, go for it. We didn't because we had everything we really wanted and did not think anything would make a noticeable difference. He will speak to you about arrival time and how many people are attending. Try to have an approximate count so that he can print out a preliminary seating plan. Also think about your cake! He pretty much goes over everything and he is very nice. Should be fun! Make sure to ask to taste some cocktail hour foods! They were delicious!

What cocktail items did they throw in for you? My wedding is in less than 2 weeks! I havent been dealing with Joe but with Mitchell. I have a feeling Joe is better.

Just some things we tried like mini-reubens, mini-shishkabobs, and these really good puffs with cheese in them. There were a couple of others. Nothing from the add-ons though. Oh, rice too. Did he throw that in for you? There is so much at the CHCC cocktail hour that I really don't think you need to worry. Have a wonderful wedding!!!!

Are you allowed to have a food tasting before the wedding? I asked Janet and Sharon and they both told me that I can't taste the food. Should I ask them again? Even if its the cocktail hour food I am curious to know what my guests will be eating.

We dealt with Jeff and then Joe. We just said we would like to taste some food. It had to be cocktail hour food and had to be during someone's wedding (we ate in the office while picking the menu). Wait and ask your menu person.
