Re: Questions for DOC

I would make a list of everything you would expect the DOC to do for you the day of and when you first go to the meeting, have the DOC explain fully what he/she is going to be doing for you that day and check off your list if what you are expecting is what he/she is going to do for you. If there are anything things you were hoping for that he/she hasn't mentioned, then bring that up to her and she if what you asking is doable. This will really help both of you get on the same page as one another and understand what is expected from both of you that day.

Also, make note of any appointments you may want your DOC to join you, such as the final appointment/run through with the RH. That way, you DOC will be present, will meet with the RH to let them know that they will be 'running the show', sorta speak, and you guys can make a gameplan of how things will be set up and how the evening with run.

Re: Questions for DOC

Does anyone know how much a DOC typically cost? I'm sure it could vary, but how much would you budget for?

Re: Questions for DOC

If you are just using someone for the day of (as in your are not hiring a full wedding planner) than I would budget somewhere between $300-$700 depending on who you are using and what exactly you are getting. You could hire a DOC to just show up at the reception hall to help set up and she leaves after the reception starts and that could cost you close to nothing. It all depends on what you are expecting them to do for you.

I didn't have many questions since I pretty much knew what the doc did. But I heart Chrissi she is fantastic and was the most reasonable priced DOC especially for the amount of time she gives. I booked on the spot.
