What forms of payment do you accept? 7. Provide liquor/champagne? 8. Is there a pp drink minimum? 9. Can I add items at the last minue? 10. Can we meet the driver? 11. What is the drivers attire? 12. What is included with the vehicle and service? 13. What time do you arrive? 14. If we go over when does it begin and how much? 15. Insurance? 16. Hours of service? 17. Deposit? Pay how? 18. Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Oh wait, I just thought of one. LOL. We asked the limo companies what would happen if the limo broke down. Ask what there back up plan would be. Also, if something happens to the limo/car/bus you picked out, are they going to tell you or just show up with another car? I know it's not good to think negative, but hey you never know, anything can happen.
Good Luck!

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Oh here are others: Do they provide a runner for the church? Is there a grace period? Usually companies give you 3:15 hours.

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
We just went to the limo company and the form had all the answers on it. We knew what type of limo we wanted. It was very easy.

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Here is one more more I found last night.
Do you own the limos (the ones you are looking at or are interested in) or do you contract them out to someone else?

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
It is on Ultimate Class' (who i booked with) contract what happens in case of a breakdown, they send you the same car you book with. They are prepared just in case. Always get the plate # of the exact car you want. The grace period is always usually 15 minutes with limo companies, sorry I didn't list this, it's my general knowledge and i always assume people know this sorry!

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
most companies own their own limos, but sometimes cars are 'farmed out' (borrowed from other companies). Good Luck ladies! and PS_VER IMPORTANT: GET IT IN WRITING THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE ASKED FOR OVERTIME THE DAY OF!!!!!!! KEEP A CREDIT CARD ON FILE, SO IF THERE IS OVERTIME YOU ARE NOT ASKED IN THE MIDDLE OF PICS OR WHATEVER FOR MONEY!!!
AISLE RUNNERS ARE MOST USUALLY PROVIDED BUT ASK ANYWAY

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Also: Be sure the drivers have directions AND alternate routes in case of traffic, accidents etc. ULTIMATE CLASS had all this covered BEFORE i asked that's why i booked (besides the newest/nices cars i saw out there) If anyone has limo questions feel free to forum mail me. I worked in this industry for 10 yrs

And one more: Check the Better Business Bureau website to see how many complaints if any they may have against them BBB

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Thanks Jenn for all that info Question: Is it okay for a vendor to farm out their jobs to an outside contractor? Meaning is it realiable? The contractor has the business with the limo company not the bride nor groom so if anything happens-no shows, who would be held responsible? I really don't feel comfortable going with a company that does this. Should I worry?

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
It is perfectly OK to use a company who farms out work. Sometimes not all companies have every kind of car you want to use that day, it doesn't mean their service isn't excellent! Usually the drivers from the limo co. you are hiring, are the same drivers who drive the cars that are farmed out to them, also if you are booking with a certain company, they are definately responsible for no shows etc.

Re: Questions for Limo Companies
Thanks Jenn for the reassurance. One more question: Should we have the name of the drivers written in the contract?
