Questions for Videographers!

FH and I are going to see videographers for the first time this weekend! Any tips on what I should be asking?! Also, any recommendations on who I should make appointments with???

not sure who you are using for photography, but I used Franklin Square Photography/Harbor Light Images for both photography and videography. keith was our photographer and sarah was the photojournalist. we had 2 video people - one of them was walter, i dont remember the other one. they were absolutely amazing. i didn't even know the videographers were there, they were not in our way at all. i definitely recommend them.

Make sure you ask if you get the raw footage, and if so, does 'X hours of coverage' mean that they will be present for those hours, or actually RECORDING during those hours. Apparently, there's a difference.

I would also ask if you get a copy of the raw footage. I mean I am sure i will never look at it but our company said we would get it and could go through it to see if there are certain things we do or dont want in the edited version...or we could just trust their judgment. Also ask if they offer additional copies? Do they record in HD?

I met with Imagine Studios for photography last night, and her husband does the videography. The sample video they showed us was really great
