So i really want to include my 16 years old brother and my two cousins who live out of state in our wedding. One is 16 and the other is 20. FH doesn't want them in the bridal party b/c he is not close to them. I kinds of got him to agree to let them be ushers if they want to and pretty much hand out programs . They are too shy to actually sit people but I want them to be a part of the day. That is of course they agree to do it.
so i have some questions...
1- do they also rent a tux? I know my older one will def wear a suit but the other two will need more than a nice shirt and tie.
2- do they get introduced at the RH? FH doesn't want them to as they are not part of the bridal party technically. I would put their names in the program (i think?)
3- I plan on taking pics before with just bridal party and then meeting family at RH before ceremony for family shots which they will be in. Does it look bad if they are not at previous picture spot?
I really want them part of my day but Fh is giving me a hard time. He was a lot worse but how do i make them feel included WITHOUT excluding them????Help please!

JMO...
1. If they own their own suits I would let them wear those unless they're ok with renting. Get them bouts too.
2. Just put their names in the program
3. I don't think it would look bad
I wouldnt bend on this either...especially your little brother.

Suits are fine for the jobs you're going to have them do.
No, I would not introduce them at the RH when you're doing BP introductions. I had my two female cousins giving out programs and bubbles at our ceremony and they weren't introduced. Since they were girls, I just asked them both to wear purple to my wedding (which is their favorite colors anyway).
I did not have my cousins in the formal photos, but I made sure we got photos with them during the wedding.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about making them feel more including than they already are. They know you care about them but this is your wedding, not theirs -- plus they're guys and probably won't notice.
Oh, I wouldn't put their names in the programs either unless you have extra space to fill. If you're going to have them at the RD, you can always give them a keepsake with your wedding date on it and I'm sure they'll feel special.
They're going to be at your wedding to celebrate your marriage, not to be paid attention to. Don't worry about them too much.
