Questions regarding invitiation wording....

Question....if you and FH are paying for the wedding with no other financial help, do you add 'with our parents'? If I do add the parents...how do I word it since my mom has passed, and my parents were divorced....


Also...even though our reception is going to be in a tent, we still want people to dress up nicely. FH will be in a tux, not a suit....and people give us funny looks when we tell them that...how would you word that? Is it semi-formal attire requested? Can you have a dress code? I would just hate for people to show up 'casual' because they associated 'tent wedding' with 'backyard'...am I making any sense?

We are writing 'together with their families' not listing our specific parents.

Also, I think 'semi-formal' atire is fine.
