Questions that needs to be asked when booking a florist

Can anyone tell me what are some of the important questions that needs to be asked when booking a florist?

Cost per centerpiece (always overestimate # of tables you may have)
What is the cost of your centerpiece as a rental vs. keeping it?
Cost per corsages / boutiners/ etc
Cost for any ceremony decoration
Do they charge for rose petals (for down the aisle, cocktail tables, throw petals)
Do they give you flowers for the bathroom (most florists throw this one in)
Can they make you a sample centerpiece?

Hmmm...I cannot think of anything else!

Thank you. Do some florists have delivery fees which brides may not know about?

Delivery (Setup, etc.) should be written out-right...otherwise, there is no fee.

Ask about pricing for high or low centerpieces.
If you have a ceremony at a church, can the flowers be moved from the church to the reception hall. if there are extra costs to move them?

I would also go with an idea of what you need and what you want... if it's too expensive you can always ask the florist how to do that same design but less expensively... maybe use a diffrent type of flower, etc.

Also ask what flowers are in season for the time of your wedding so you get ideas of flowers that would not be hard to find or be out of season.

I would also make sure that you get the EXACT flowers you discuss in writing...names of each flower. You dont want any surprises or assumptions the day of the wedding
