Questions to ask DJ

We are seeing a DJ tonight and I was wondering what questins should we be asking. I know to ask about the backup equip, deposits, final payments, cancellation policies, song list. Anything else?

Try to talk the price. I did it with mine and he lowered the price for me. Ask if they have music in foreign language. My family is Italian and I asked the DJ if he can play Italian Music. Also ask if they giveaways, like hats, shades, necklaces.

Ask if they provide all music. I think that you shouldnt be responsible for going out to get your own music. If it is a song they dont know then I would fiind out where they can get it but dont get it yourself. Aslo about if you want an MC and Dj it might be cheaper with out an MC also look around becasue you can always try to get the price down if you shoping. There are some really good ones with great prices. Good luck

He did FH's mom's retirement party so we know he has all the music we need. We are pretty much booking him tonight I just want to grill him before I sign anything.
Giveaways he charges $1 pp. I want to buy them myself and save a little bit. This DJ is for our engagement party. We haven't decided whether to have a MC or not. I am leaning towards yes b/c we need a crowd motivator. He is $100.

All in all it will be about $500 for 4 hours. Is this good?
