Quick! Cheaper NYC Venues for an SVP to recommend to someone?

Hey Ladies,

A Senior VP in my office just asked me for a couple not-so-so-pricey places for him to recommend to one of his friends who just got engaged.

I thought of The Alger House (a cool mansion carriage house place that is downtown) but what are another couple NYC venues that arent' your normal crazy $$ venues?

AS IN RH? Or restuarants ...

Cipriani .. depending on which location they can be flexible (still to much for me, but they will probably be able to afford it)

The Boat house in CP
The Grand Ballroom
Then hotels like the Mandrain and the St. Regis

I think St. Regis would be SUPER pricey, no? It's not for the SVP himself, it's for his friend.

Is the Boat House in Central Park very pricey?

Well the two hotels I mentioned are pricey, so maybe they wouldnt be the best ... The boat house is crazy priced, I think it depends on what you want. I have ate there before

oh there is also The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers
and the Bklyn or Queens botanical gardens, but those are exactly in NYC... although honestly, in NYC there is nothing that isnt crazy $$$
