Quick help!

Quick help!

I am trying to help a friend here with something and I was wondering if it were at all possible for a cell number to come up with a name on a caller id box..I of course have seen the number come up but have you ever seen a name as well.

I know if you have the number programmed in your phone..than the name will come up by what you put it.

Anyone?

Noreen - I've never seen the name come up only the number.

I dont think so unless you have the phone number programmed into your phone.

Yes, my sister's cell comes up on my home phone caller ID with her last name and cell #. She has T-mobile. But on a cell phone caller ID, no I don't think it is possible.
