I am giving them cute little necklaces and earring sets (like a purplish fake pearl set that goes with their dresses - which are violet). they are clearly fake and not too fancy.
I am havinga panic attack. all of a sudden, i feel like i should be doing more. they were only $20 each, so now i feel like a cheapskate!
PS - i have 8 girls (well 7 BMs and 1 hostess). Also, they are having their nails done the day before and their hair done day of and i am treating for that.
PPS - i was thinking of also doing personalized compacts (i love those) so that is what i would add if i need something more, but i would have to do it like TODAY.

I think it is enough- hair and nails is very $$$. The compacts are nice but I would not use it- so it depends on what your bms are like.

It all depends on what you can afford. Paying for their hair and nails is expensive - I'm sure that would add up to somewhere between $75 - $100 + the $20 jewelry set. That is a lot. If you can afford the compacts and you like them, then get them. But, I think $100 gift is plenty!

Hey Joro, we did the jewelry and compacts also. Im also giving them a gift basket, I just decided today.
They did so much for our shower, it was more than I expected

I was in a BP and there were 8 girls, we got a silver bracelet. They could not have cost, $20, and we paid for our hair and our nails, if we wanted to get them done. I didn't think that it was not enough. How much is it going to cost each girl to get her nails and hair done, that has to cost a bit!
I woudln't worry about it, I think what you are giving is more than enough!

I agree!!!!!! Hair&Nails is expensive. Plus the jewlery! I think that is a wonderful gift! You've spent plenty of money already! But if it will make you feel better and ease your mind, and you can afford it, then get them the compacts.

Thanks Ladies!! And Wacky, i am kind of where you are. My shower was amazing. But mostly it was like 2 girls plus my sister and my mom that really did everything!! But I wouldn't want to single them out and have the other girls find out about it.
i got my mom a white gold locket (this is so cheesey but she is going to love it.) it is a heart and on the back it says, 'Always in our hearts' -J&C

Shelzyp, i just re-read your post. were you required to get your hair done? and you had to pay for it? i just think that is a little much. especially given that many of my girls have to fly up and pay for hotels and stuff. they are really spending a lot on me. I think i may end up getting the compacts too!

As a bridesmaid, I would think that getting my nails and hair done for free is awesome! (My cousin is making us pay for the hair, nails and makeup plus the dress!) So yes you are doing enough and even moreso!!!
