Quick Invite Question with Poll

On our invitations we are writing our names and then together with our parents...my question is...should I incoporate mine and Fh's last names...b/c our last names will not be on it otherwise b/c we are not putting our parents names...so should I put Marisa Christine last name and Thomas Andrew last name...OR Marisa Christine and Thomas Andrew with no last names??? Please help!!! TIA

we did something like this:

First Middle Last (me)
and
First middle last (FH)

together with our parents...

List parents.

your last names need to be on there somewhere. if your parents names are listed, yours dont need to be. if your parents but not his are listed, you dont need your last name but he should be listed with his. if neither parents names are listed (like in your case) you need your full names on it.

If you are not putting your parents names on the invite, then you MUST include your last names on there.

Otherwise, people will not know who to write the checks out to ... and they may not know who you are. Obviously your close family & friends will know, but there are always more distant guests .... like co-workers and friends of your parents.

Here's a sully thought though...if they are being invited to your wedding, wouldn't they know your last name?

you would think...but there are some distant family friends who may be coming who may not be totally like oh yeah thats marisa so and so or tom so and so...ya know? annoying

Since I didn't list our parents names (we just said 'together with our families') we both put our first middle and last names.

we did my parents names first and last then we put my first and middle and just his first b/c he doesn't have a middle name.

we only put our first names on our STD magnet, but it was sent with our engagement party invites (or wedding announcements) that had our full names. Wedding invites are formal and need the last names on there somewhere.
