hahaha...that wasn't a very long leave of absence. I'm just back REALLY quickly...i swear!!!
I have to put in my vacation requests for the next year (until may 2008) ASAP....other people started requesting dates last month before I started working...so i'm already behind.
But, how many days do people normally take off before the wedding? I requested 2 days...will that be enough?

I would take at least 3 or 4....I have a lot of friends getting married this year and so far they have taking 3 days to get things done and finalize .......and u might need that 4th day to rest and drink some wine to calm your nerves ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

I wouldnt take off too many because I would rather have the time off after the wedding for my honeymoon.

I was going to do 2 as well... should be enough time. My goal is to have most everything done in advance so I'm not crunched those last two days and stressing out. I just want to use that time to enjoy with family and friends that are traveling for the wedding... and my last few days as a single gal!

Lucky for me I'm getting married Thanksgiving weekend. Where I work is off starting the Wednesday before. So i may take the Monday & Tuesday off so i have the days to get things done since it'll be extra crazy with the holiday.

I agree...I think 2 should be fine....I plan on taking the bulk of my days off after the wedding.

I am taking 3 days because my job gives me marriage days...lol i know i didnt know they exist and they give you 3 of them....
