when being annouced into the reception, do the grooms or brides parents get annouced first? TIA!

We did my parents first of anyone. Then DH parents, then bridal party then us.

I answered this on BHB also. It seems like a lot of people are saying groom's parents first over there. We did my parents first. They paid for the reception and we wanted them to start off the entrances. I think you can do whatever you darn well please!

my parents went first. they hosted the wedding, they got to be first, DH family didn't pay a dime!

bride's parents or whomever is representing the bride ALWAYS goes first

yup - it's bride's parents first because traditionally they were the people paying.
So it would be:
Bride's parents Groom's parents BP MOH & BM Bride and Groom
