I know it's customary to do them around 9 months before the wedding, but I think it's worth it to send them out as soon as possible. It *could* be that sending out the STDs makes everything 'official' and exciting, but that's how I feel

We got married the day after thanksgiving so we sent them out a little over a year (i think beginning of nov) before. I would def recommend sending them out only bc your wedding is close to the holidays!
