I have never had a problem with it so it should be fine!

Re: Quick question: Flat iron on plane?
I took my flat iron in a carry on a couple months ago and it was fine.

I carried on my makeup bag and I had these tiny little scissors in there that I didn't realize were in there.. and it was fine... both coming and going.... so I don't see what would be wrong with a flat iron.

Re: Quick question: Flat iron on plane?
The subject line sounds like the title to a Samuel L. Jackson movie!
As previous posters have said, I've never had a problem bringing mine onboard.
