I am making scallops in a white wine sauce. It requires heavy cream, white wine vinegar and wine wine. I only have rose wine. Do you think that will be ok? Or should I go buy some white wine?

Go get some white, to me Rose has a fruity taste to it

you need white wine - especially since it is a significant part of teh taste of that dish!
