Im getting married at the Rh and the officiant is kind of like a family friend. Here's the thing...Fh and I are already at war with eachother over the amount of guests invited and we are trying to keep the number closer to the minimum guarantee. SO do I have to invite the officiant's spouse ( he's already 'charging me a fee' because Im getting married on a Sunday and he has to get someone else to 'cover' his usual church service)? TIA!
I would say that if the officiant is a family friend, you should probably invite his spouse. HTH!
Yes, if you're inviting your officiant they should be invited with a guest. Especially if they are married.
