Quiet for one day and it starts AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I emialed FSIL to tell her that the bridal store called me to tell me that I'm responsible for her dress so I told her the options are to take your dress, since it's your responsibility or find someone else to fill the dress, well she flipped, call mommy and there was a whole new $h!tstorm over it, so I just called FSIL to tell her to knock it off, and that my dad NEVER threatened her husband, and shes like well we take it seriously from your dad, I'm like why cause he's a a man????? she says no because we know about his past, he's in the mob............. .....my father is NOT in the mob....his mom went on 15 other tangents that had nothing to do with the conversation and then told ME to be RATIONAL!!! All she did was talk over me......fcuking insanebiatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is this solved, who know's I'm sure something else will happen before the day is out!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm not trying to belittle your situation but you seriously need to step away from them. Stop calling, no matter what the reason, and stop stooping to their level of fighting/screaming/trying to talk it out. I would ignore them completely. I know they will be there for your day but you're only letting them win if you let them make you miserable.

you need to stop all communication only send emails or talk to fh nothign is being accomplished they are wack a doos!!!!! stop contacting , screw the dress and everything else its not worth your health!

In some odd way this reminds me of the Cinderella, the mother and the ugly step sister... There is seriously something mentally wrong with these 2. Maybe a chemical imbalance in the braIn? I know it doesn't sound like it, but I'm being serioud. I think you should take the other girls' advice and minimize or stop all contact. There's no reasoning with them. They need a pill.

So I've decided, there needs to be no further dialogue with them before the wedding, I've been sufficiently angered to the point that I no longer care what's good for anyone else, my sanity as at serious risk here and I will not have them push me over the edge, they can come, not come, drown themselves in the pond of the 5th green at the club, they have have monkeys fly outta their rear ends, I don't care, I said what I had to say to his mom, and she talked over me the whole time and didn't let me get a word in edgewise, talking to her is like talking to a brick wall, and his sister is CONVINCED they did nothing wrong, stemming back to the eparty, so whatever, let them think they're right, I just want QUIET for the next three weeks, just...shhhhh.................quiet................after the wedding, they'll know how I feel when I NEVER SPEAK TO THEM AGAIN, but until then, I just want everyone to keep their mouths shut, knock off the cr@p and be.........quiet......

I applaud your choice in action! A move closer to managing your needs as an individual and with your FH.

They are not going to change. And on that note, I suggest you keep a copy of these reports, in your LIW notebook, about their antics. Because after the wedding and with some space, these reports on their unacceptable behavior are going make you laugh harder than you ever have. You ill still do this , but also

You will have a clearer perspective and understanding that they are not 'well' but you are married to a great man and you are happy together.

I agree!!!! I normally have fh deal with his family!
