did anyone get a quote , we got one price in person and a higher one after she sent us our contract , did this happen to anyone else?

we called wingate and they wouldnt even give us a quote - they said december 2008 is to far away and they can't give us any prices - *** is that about?!?! we called other hotels and got quotes!

well we are not happy about this quote the one in person/over the phone was cheaper then they pull this crap im calling tomorrow and telling them unless they lower it im going someplace else

me and Fh were thinking of staying there for our wedding night... the price on the website for the bridal suite is pricey... i havent gone there to talk to them yet though!! I hope it works out for you..that is really crazy to give u one price over the phone and another in the contract.
when they gave u the quote in person was it including tax? maybe they taxed it on the contract and thats why it's more?? i can't see how they could give u different prices.. it's just wrong

I was quoted $139 over the phone and in person. WE just received out contract adn it said $139. also the bridal suite was $309. I have to say the rooms were very nice.

The woman did tell me that there is only one available suite b/c the other 3 are contracted out.

was quoted $129 for late april. but they also made the mistake and said no rooms were available, not even any suites. but when i checked online, there were rooms available to book online. so i called them back and they were able to book something for me.

I was quoted $149 per night for my block for May. And, I booked a Jr. Suite (which is really big) for night before (to use to get ready in the AM) and night of. I worked with Cynthia (who couldn't be more helpful!!!) and Kristin too. When I went there for a tour of the rooms- some youger guy showed us around (don't remember his name) but he was also sooo helpful & the hotel is very clean / new. This has been one of my most positive wedding experiences so far.
