Did anyone receive quotes for different years? I am curious if the same venue will go up drastically from 2011 to 2012. I have only been receiving quotes for 2012, but I was wondering if we would save some $$ if we did 2011 instead. I am guessing quotes are differrent, becuase a venue I visted last week told me 'We just finished our 2012 prices'

I have a friend who is a manager from a long island reception location. He told me you're more likely to get better prices now than 2012. Things might start to get better and go up.

Yes, quotes will go up in some places year to year. I heard of several halls going up $20 p/person from one year to another.

I would play some hardball. Say, listen since we are booking so far in advance can we lock into 2011 rates. Some places might let you!
