R K Bridal questions

Ok Girls.. I've Finally located my dream dress, so a friend and I are heading out to the city tomorrow to check it out.
I've been to a bunch of local boutiques (bay shore, wedding center, village bridal, centereach, huntington) but none of them have THIS dress, so skip ahead.. RK Bridal has one. Now, we're getting on the train tomorrow from Babylon to Penn.. HOW DO WE GET THERE FROM PENN? I'm great in the city, but when I'm rushing.. I get lost, and for some reason, I always get lost in PENN. once I'm outside I have no problem (go ahead, laugh).

Also, can I have my friend take pictures of me in the dress? I know some shops let you take pictures and some don't, so should I even bother bringing a camera?

I've been warned the customer service is 'ehhh' I'm ok with that, it can't be as bad as the one place I went to.

What else should I expect??

and wish me luck, I've tried on way too many dresses and I LOVE this one (in pictures) but I keep thinking that its not going to look good on me! I WANT THAT FEELING!!!

they don't let you take pics unless you buy the dress, but maybe you can sneak one in. I am actually going to be there tomorrow to pick up my dress

You can walk there from Penn. It's on 39th street between 8th and 9th avenue. You will have to walk up and west from Penn.

As far as cameras, I was only allowed to take pics during my try on. But since you are buying the dress, they may let you take a few.

I'm going there to try it on, see how it really looks on me, if the style suits me well.. and if it does, I'm going back to bay shore and ordering it through them. I can't be going back and forth into the city as it is, I'm having a hard time going out there tomorrow. AND the one they have isn't the right color.
but I'm going to try and sneak a few pictures.

Oh ok. Well I would suggest trying on more than that one dress...especially since you're making the trip from Babylon. I would go in with ideas or print out what styles you like.

When I went, I liked the customer service. They brought out some really nice dresses that they thought I would like based on other dresses I was looking at. One of them was this Enzoani dress which turned out to be the runner up.

I've tried on SO many dresses I feel like I wont find 'the one'. but I'd seen a picture of this dress a while back, ripped it out of a magazine and put it in my 'planner'. yea I did that EVERY time I saw it till I finally realized that it was the same one . so I have about 50 pictures of the same dress .
IF I try it on and don't like it I'll DEF try on others. But I'm PRAYING its the ONE!

its REALLY easy to get to walking from Penn!
I had a good experience there actually... I guess it depends who helps you and when you go. i went during 'off -peak' hours so that probably helped! Also, they don't allow taking pics until after you buy the dress!
And... you'll know when its the right dress. I know you are going to try on this specific dress but pick up 2 or 3 more to try on too - you never know!
