Rabbi Costs?

Rabbi Costs?

I was wondering if anyone who has a Rabbi could give me a quote. I've been receiving some pretty high numbers and just want to make sure what we are being quoted is the norm. Also, if anyone has a Rabbi they recommend that would be totally awesome and helpful as well! Thanks!

Our rabbi's charing us $750. His name is Rabbi Tobin, and he's done my FMIL's ceremony for her second marriage. He's very helpful in helping you plan your ceremony, and organized. Every e-mail we sent was returned in a prompt manner, and I'm stickler for that sort of thing lol. On top of that, he's very personable. During FMIL's ceremony everyone was tuned in, and didn't seem at all bored. He tailors the couples ceremony according to what they want, and personalizes it. If you want his info, just FM :)

Thanks for the info! We have a Rabbi in mind, she's a little more religious then we were looking for, but I wanted to make sure that what she quoted us was too over the top! Glad to see it wasn't. If after our meeting it doesn't work out, I will def FM you for info. Thanks so much!

No problem! I remember when we were looking for a rabbi, some were a bit more on the conservative too...even one of the reformed ones! She told us she would only officiate if we were to raise our children Jewish. FH and I agreed that when the time came, we would celebrate both Catholic and jewish traditions, but ultimately raise them Catholic since he's not at all religious.
