Hi everyone! Can you guys help me find a rabbi? I would like someone that you've used or seen perform a service. Both fiance and I are jewish and would like someone traditional and who can incorporate personal touches to the ceremony as well. Oh yes and preferably he should be able to sing. We've checked out a bunch of cantors already but havent really clicked with anyone. Thanks so much!!

have you spoken with Rabbi Steve Blane? I've never actually seen him do a service but i've met with him (wanted to use him) and he was really really nice. He is a cantor AND a Rabbi.
his prices were on the medium-high end though ...

we met with another Rabbi (through FH's family's synagogue) and he ended up being more affordable for us.
i must have met or spoken to about 20 Rabbis ... it was a HUGE pain for us to find a good one. The price ranges we saw were between $600 - $1000 ...

I've met 3 so far...so nowhere near your numbers....but it was been the biggest pain to find a rabbi...and I dont just want any rabbi I want to actually like them and like their work. Its been tough! Thanks for your help though!!

Rabbi Allen Stein was recommended to me by friends who used him, but I have not personally seen him in action
