Alot of people seem very surprised when I say that I honestly dont care if it pours on my wedding day. I've come to accept the fact I can't control the weather (which is why I didn't choose an RH which amazing outside grounds- because then I would be dissapointed). I actually hope its very cloudy so everyone doesnt sweat like crazy.
Does anyone else not care about the weather at all (with the exception of all you winter brides- I might be worried about a snowstorm, thats understandable!) Or is it just me that doesnt really care in the least bit about rain?

I'm not worried either, and people think I'm nuts for it too! I actually LOVE the rain (I was thrilled throughout June, as you can imagine!) and love seeing wedding pics that were taken in the rain. Some that I've seen are just incredible. I also figure that it's something that only Mother Nature has control over, so why stress it?

i picked fall because i HATE SUMMER. i hate the heat, i hate being hot. I kinda care about the weather. I hope it doesnt rain because I want outside fall pictures. But other than that..if it wants to be 40 degrees..let it!

It's not so much that I don't care, because I would be a little upset if it rains, BUT, I know it's the one thing I cannot control, so I have to just suck it up and deal with it.
If it's a light mist I really won't care too much. Besides, it rained a little on my best friend's wedding day and I have the most adorable picture of her and her husband with him holding one of those big black umbrellas over her standing next to the antique car. I put the picture in black and white and it looks like an old fashioned picture

I would be upset if it rains but I know I can't control it, that's why I didn't pick a place with amazing grounds either because I would be disappointed as well... The only thing is I do want some outdoor pics but if I can't, oh well... It will still be an amazing day because it will be my wedding day!

I hope that it's not humid, not too concerned about rain. Totally beyond my control.

Not much I can do about the rain... so, whatever. www.weather.com has a section where they show you the weather trends on your wedding day, and as it gets closer they'll be e-mailing you the forecast.

I dont care if its very cold, or humid, or anything else as long as it doesnt rain. my hair gets really frizzy and stringy in a rainy weather even w/o exposure to the rain plus rain make me and FH very moody - we are total summer ppl but I know this is one thing I cant control, so I try not to think about it. after all we can take awesome pix inside

Re: rain on your wedding day.
well i will be upset bc if it rains we wont be able to use the beautiful grounds for our pics and wont be able to have our ceremony outside. However, I will try not to let it ruin our day bc no matter what the day will be amazing!

Re: rain on your wedding day.
I think a rainy day would probably disappoint me because the idea of going from the church to the limo and getting soaked scares me a bit. My photographer has a rainy day do-over policy, so i'm not worried about pictures...just about being wet.
But I totally wouldn't mind a summer thunder/lightning storm once night time comes.

Re: rain on your wedding day.
I can't handle the heat, which is why we're getting married the first of May! Whilst I'd love a blue sky because I think it makes photos look so nice, my consolation if it rains is that we can have one of those adorable photos of my fh and I kissing under the huge umbrella!

I am in the total same boat as you - no worries. Honestly, the weather is one thing I have no control over whatsoever - so why waste any stress, aggrivation, or time worrying about it? JMO. Although, dont get me wrong - I do wish it is going to be a beautiful day and have already said a small prayer to the weather gods. lol
