So my co-worker and I were talking yesterday and the topic of raining on your wedding day came out. He said this is his reasoning behind the 'rain means good luck' theory...
When two people get married they are forming a bond, or tying a knot A knot is made out of rope when a rope gets wet it gets stronger, so that knot that you are tying together can only get stronger from that moment on
I just thought that was the nicest way of putting it!

oh thats such a cool way to think about it. i just told FH. Farmers almanac says to expect clear skies and mild weather for my day...but I don't care if it rains. Nothing could ever put a damper on that day. FH and I say to each other every single day 'I can't wait!'

Idk I hope its nice out though, I wouldn't mid a little rain as long as we can take pics....that's mostly the reason we booked Imagine Studios. After seeing MissingtheBGene's wedding pics its like an advertisement for getting married in the rain...it was seriously BEAUTIFUL!!!

Not to be a 'Debbie-downer' but so much is riding on having nice weather on our wedding. I dont even care if its not nice as long as it doesnt rain. If we have to have an inside ceremony, I'll be beyond pissed!
