Rainy Day!

I had my shower today! It wasn't a complete surprise, because I kind of figured it out, but my mom did an AMAZING job, as did my aunt and 2 best friends. They had it at one of my favorite restaurants and my aunt had the most beautiful cake made!

Now my poor parents have even MORE stuff in their basement!!!

ETA: Ok, I tried to add a pic but it won't let me Oh well....

Rainy Day! - Long Island Weddings

It was in Forest Hills, at a restaurant called Nick's Bistro. Their food is AMAZING and they gave so much of it, plus unlimited mimosas, sangria, spritzers, bellinis and bloody marys.

My side of the family was extremely generous (as always) and FH's mother chose the no gift option, among other stunts pulled that day and every day. BUT, the day was great regardless of that awful woman (that is the tamest thing I've called her since Saturday).
