After a negative Farmers' Almanac forecast (for the entire weekend of my wedding), I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst on my wedding day.
If it rained on your wedding day, did it truly affect your day? How did it change things?
Where did you go for pictures?
Thanks!

rain means good luck... you dont have to take pics outside to have beautiful pics.. my sister got married in dec ( very cold) and we took pics all inside my moms house and the hall.. I am getting married in the middle of April , I will be happy no matter what the weather

I'll still be happy, but just trying to 'prepare'.

Re: Rainy Day Brides
the rain moved our outdoor ceremony inside - because we were in denial about having to be inside we totally didnt plan for it pushing the set up by the hall back almost an hour - the whole day ran late and the cocktail hour lasted nearly two hours as they rushed to put all the dinner stuff back after the ceremony - personally i dont notice too much but several guests mentioned it to me. i would have had an alternative plan for inside - in fact i would have had them set up the bridal suite for the ceremony - it is much brighter then the dining room - i think it would have looked much better. ( the bridal suite at mpi is 3/4 of the top floor - it is huge) alot of our ceremony photos came out dark because of low light in the dining room - didnt think of that.

It was a monsoon on my wedding day and honestly, the only thing that was affected was our outdoor pictures. We had booked Old Westbury Gardens and had to take pictures in the mansion rather than outside. The pictures still came out amazing and it did slow down enough for us to get some shots outside.
